For starters

Just a short introduction: we are a bunch of employees at PTV in Karlsruhe, Germany, including product managers, developers, technical consultants, marketing guys and more. In the next weeks we’ll write more about ourselves.

We just felt we needed a platform where we can post stuff about PTV’s developer components. That’s why we started this blog. PTV developer components provide functionalities like digital mapping, routing, transport cost calculation, toll fee calculation, route scheduling, tracking & tracing etc.. Other (IT and software) companies can easily integrate them into their application. For more information please click “about”.

Martina Beck has been working for PTV since 2000. As certified computer scientist she was originally responsible for providing customers with technical support and she later moved on to the Product Management division. Since 2011 she has been working for PTV as an online marketing manager in international marketing with an emphasis on social media (et al. Facebook, Twitter, Google+, YouTube).
