New PTV Mapserver Update available

PTV Mapserver 5.8.0.45

is now available for download.

Improvements:

  • Kernel bugfix: When a MapControl is created and no map directory (*.geo) is configured by default, all available layers were created however. Because no plausible pathes exist for their corresponding geografical data, all local drives were searched for, especially routing and geocoding data. Depending on the amount of existing directories and files, the startup time of the MapControl could increase to more than one minute. This bug is fixed.
  • Routing bugfix: The new introduced calculation mode, needed for handling of
isolated way points, indicates the existance of one or more segment violations
in the method GetSectionInfo (via flag ESectionInfo.esiHasViolation). The
value of this flag was correct only for the first route calculation and remained
the same for further calculations. This bug is fixed.
  • MapEditor bugfix: The rendering of polyline and polygon objects was slowed-down
due to some internal refactorings. This bug (or performance decrease) is fixed.
