Map Updates

Discover the new PTV Maps available for PTV xServer and PTV Mapserver.

In the last weeks and months a lot of map updates have been published. Here, you can find an overview of the updates and new content.

New PTV South America City Map 2015 is in stock. For the first time environmental zones for several countries can be determined on the map display. The street network increased by 400,000 km. 13 further international ferries (19 in total) were added by PTV.

New PTV North America City Map 2015H is in stock. New Content for this map is available with height information used within the way point lists. The routing to PTV South America City Map 2015 is now possible.

New PTV Maghreb City Map 2015 is in stock. This map is based on TomTom data for Tunesia and Morocco while data for Algeria does still originate from AND. This map is routeable to PTV Europe City Map Premium 2015.1 from HERE and TomTom.

New PTV Europe City Map Premium 2015.1H is in stock. Improved geocoding for Greece could be realized. The new route of A35 in Italy via Brebemi was manually added since HERE didn’t provided these segments with the input data. Some bugs related to the Italian toll calculation could be fixed as well. New postcodes are available for Bosnia and Herzegovina and improved postcodes are delivered for Portugal, Russia and Turkey.

New PTV Europe City Map Premium 2015.1T in stock. Similiar to the HERE map, bugs in the Italian toll calculation could be fixed. Cyprus is on detailed street level now. Truck Attributes for Gibraltar could be added.

Already in September the new PTV India City Map 2015 was released. With this release, PTV could again increase the amount of street network by 650,000 km to a total network of nearly 2.5 Million km. The Feature Layer information Time Zones and Traffic Patterns are also available with this map. Over 5 Million POIs can be delivered with this map as well.

Feature Layer Updates

Also the additional content of our maps has been updated. Three of the PTV maps got new Feature Layer information.

For the PTV Europe City Map Premium 2015.1H the following Feature Layers are available: Preferred Routes, Traffic Patterns, Time Zones and Truck Restriction Zones.

For the PTV Europe City Map Premium 2015.1T the following Feature Layers are available: Traffic Patterns, Time Zones and Truck Restriction Zones.

For the PTV North America City Map 2015H the following Feature Layers are available: PreferredRoutes, TrafficPatterns and Time Zones.
