  • OS updates for next PTV xServer 2 version

    We plan to build and test the next version of PTV xServer 2 on updated operating system environments, bringing enhanced security and reliability. This is relevant for all on-premise installations.

    What’s Changing

    To ensure our customers benefit from the latest platform improvements, we will upgrade our build and testing environments:

    Windows Customers:

    • New recommendation from 2.40: Windows Server 2025
    • Previous recommendation till 2.39: Windows Server 2019

    Linux Customers:

    • New recommendation from 2.40: Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
    • Previous recommendation till 2.39: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
