For PTV xTerritory PTV offers a wide range of Point of Sales Data (PoS Data). Points of Sales are regulars in numerous location-based applications pertaining both to marketing, location planning and consumers.

xTerritory-Server-Icon_Puzzleteil-grau_64pPoS is a special form of POI (Point of interest). As part of many route planning and navigation systems, this feature refers to interesting facilities like fast food chains, grocery stores, retailers, hotels and the like.

PTV offers by now most recent PoS Data of about 500 companies with more then 290.000 PoS-Locations sort out in 15 Categories.  This high quality data set shows its benfits  in marketing, location based service, site planning and territory planning and gives indication about density, location and allocation of existing PoS in the demanded area. Optionally the PoS data contains x/y coordinate, communication data and for some entries opening times. This exceptional data set is available for Germany. The data set will be extended continuously.
