With the aim of sustainability, the EU intends to increase the share of renewable energies in the transport sector, which also includes a minimum share of biofuels. These fuels are produced solely from biomass. To meet the target, a ratio of biofuels has already been introduced in EU countries.
In the xRoute service of PTV xServer 2 this ratio can already be considered as parameter when calculating emissions. But since the value is country-specific and might change, it is set to 0 by default in the API.
How to adjust the specific biofuel ratio for your calculation is now shown in our updated documentation with the new PTV xServer 2.29.
